Our story
Three generations, one long table.
The Windmill Virundhu began as a family kitchen cooking Kongunadu and Chettinad food for friends, and grew into a restaurant and catering kitchen on Windmolen in Veldhoven. The windmill on the sign is the one down the road — the name stayed.
What we cook
Kongunadu and Chettinad home cooking at banquet scale. Masalas ground each morning, sambar simmered four hours, ghee clarified in-house.
How we host
One event coordinator per booking, from menu tasting through to the last plate cleared. Decor, cake, music and photography are handled in-house.
Who we feed
Weddings, birthdays, house warmings, religious functions and corporate events across Veldhoven, Eindhoven and the wider Netherlands.
